All privacy enquiries are handled directly at the address above.<\/p>\n<h2>What Personal Data We Collect and Why<\/h2>\n<h3>Newsletter Subscription<\/h3>\n<p>If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your <strong>email address<\/strong>, and the date and time of your subscription and confirmation.<\/p>\n<p>We use a double opt-in process: after you submit the form, you receive an email asking you to confirm. We only add you to our list once you have confirmed. This record of confirmation also serves as our evidence of your consent.<\/p>\n<p>Our newsletter is operated by Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., United States). Your email address is stored on Mailchimp&#8217;s servers. See &#8220;Who We Share Your Data With&#8221; below.<\/p>\n<p>You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email we send, or by writing to us.<\/p>\n<h3>Account Registration<\/h3>\n<p>When you create an account, we collect:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full name<\/li>\n<li>Email address<\/li>\n<li>Password (stored in encrypted form \u2014 we cannot read it)<\/li>\n<li>Date of registration<\/li>\n<li>Your order history and saved billing and delivery addresses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Purpose: to create and manage your account and provide access to our services.<\/p>\n<h3>Orders, Payment and Delivery<\/h3>\n<p>When you place an order, we collect:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full name and delivery address<\/li>\n<li>Email address<\/li>\n<li>Phone number, which the carrier may use to arrange delivery<\/li>\n<li>Billing address, and your tax number (NIF or equivalent) if you ask for it to appear on your invoice<\/li>\n<li>The items you bought, order totals and currency<\/li>\n<li>Payment status and transaction references<\/li>\n<li>Technical data collected at checkout, including your IP address, used to detect fraudulent orders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We never see or store your card details.<\/strong> Card data is entered into a secure payment form operated by Stripe and goes directly to Stripe \u2014 it does not pass through our website or our servers. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, together with the card brand and the last four digits, which we use to identify the transaction and to handle refunds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How your order reaches you.<\/strong> We work with a dropshipping model: parcels are dispatched to you directly by our suppliers, who are located in the European Union. To make this possible, your name, delivery address and phone number are passed to the supplier fulfilling your order and to the carrier delivering it. Suppliers and carriers receive only what they need to ship your parcel \u2014 they never receive your payment details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Invoicing and tax reporting.<\/strong> Portuguese law requires us to issue an invoice for every sale and to report invoice data to the tax authority. Your invoice is generated using InvoiceXpress and transmitted to the Autoridade Tribut\u00e1ria e Aduaneira (AT). This is a legal obligation and does not depend on your consent, and it applies whether or not you provide a tax number.<\/p>\n<p>We currently ship to destinations within the European Union only.<\/p>\n<h3>Communications<\/h3>\n<p>If you contact us by email, we may retain:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your name and email address<\/li>\n<li>The content of your message<\/li>\n<li>Date and time of correspondence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Purpose: to respond to your enquiries and keep a record of what was discussed.<\/p>\n<h3>Technical Data and Server Logs<\/h3>\n<p>Our hosting provider automatically records certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, the pages you requested, and the time of the request.<\/p>\n<p>Purpose: to keep the website running, detect and prevent attacks and abuse, and diagnose faults. This happens regardless of your cookie choices, because it is necessary to operate and secure the site.<\/p>\n<h3>Analytics<\/h3>\n<p>If you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our site. Receives your name, billing address, tax number where provided, and the contents and value of your order, in order to produce your invoice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Autoridade Tribut\u00e1ria e Aduaneira (Portugal)<\/strong> \u2014 the Portuguese tax authority. Receives invoice data, as required by law.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spocket (Canada)<\/strong> \u2014 the platform through which we place orders with our suppliers. Receives the delivery details needed to route your order to the right supplier.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Our suppliers, located in the European Union<\/strong> \u2014 receive your name, delivery address and phone number in order to pack and dispatch your parcel.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Delivery carriers<\/strong> appointed by the supplier \u2014 receive your name, delivery address and phone number in order to deliver your parcel and, where you ask for it, to keep you updated on its progress.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., United States)<\/strong> \u2014 newsletter delivery and subscriber management. Receives your email address and subscription records.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Google Ireland Limited<\/strong> \u2014 website analytics, only with your consent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meta Platforms Ireland Limited<\/strong> \u2014 advertising measurement, only with your consent. Meta acts as an independent controller for its own purposes; its own privacy policy applies in addition to ours.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Namecheap, Inc. Some of our providers are established in, or process data in, countries outside it.
